Our French dining challenge

Tired of textbooks? So are we!
Here at JLH Languages, we believe the best way to learn French is to use it! And that’s exactly what happened last night when around 30 of our amazing learners joined us for a very special (and delicious!) French evening.
The challenge? Ordering a full 3-course meal completely in French!
The result? Lots of laughter, new friendships and some seriously good language practice! It was brilliant to see learners from our different groups mixing, chatting and proving that they can handle real-life conversations.
It was wonderful to see learners from all our different groups talking together . One of the highlights of the evening for me personally was that I met some people that I teach online for the first time in person! One lady, Lydia, has been learning French with me for 5 years and I finally got to meet her face-to-face last night! Formidable!
A massive merci to everyone who came! Your support and enthusiasm are what makes JLH Languages so special!
