Getting students to speak spontaneously in the target language is one of the toughest challenges in MFL teaching—especially with the GCSE speaking exam in mind.
Textbooks and role-play worksheets have their place, but nothing builds confidence like real communication in a real-world context.
That’s where our immersive French and Spanish restaurant experiences come in!
We take students out of the classroom mindset and step into an authentic environment where they actually want to use their language skills—for a real purpose. From ordering food to dealing with unexpected problems (like a dirty knife!), students practice spontaneous speaking naturally, building genuine fluency and exam readiness without the pressure.
