Bringing culture to life in the language classroom!
The JLH Languages Spanish Team was back at George Dixon Academy today serving an authentic Spanish breakfast to Year 9 students!
We set off early (and were treated to a spectacular sunrise!), but the real highlight was the students themselves. As always, they greeted us with incredible enthusiasm and an open mind to explore a new culture through taste and language. As their motto beautifully puts it: “Together, we dreamed!”
Looking for new ways to boost engagement and motivation in your MFL department? Immersive cultural experiences give students a tangible reason to love language learning.
