What does the mobile Spanish restaurant experience involve?
Our team of qualified, experienced DBS checked language teachers come to your school to create a French restaurant in the classroom or venue allocated to us.
We create the ambience of France through language, food, drink, music and props so that your students can experience a taste of France without leaving the school premises. Students gain an insight into French culture and gain the opportunity to use lots of target language by completing our carefully structured language activities. Our sessions are practical, enjoyable and motivating
The Spanish breakfast session lasts 90 minutes. We can deliver up to 3 sessions in one day.
The price includes:
-
A Spanish continental breakfast with a selection of tapas.
-
Language activities to promote spontaneous speaking, increase confidence in the language and (for KS4 students) develop the skills required for success at GCSE level.
-
Certificate of participation for each student
-
Staff food and drink free of charge

What are people saying?
The feedback from the groups that have taken part in the Spanish restaurant experiences has been overwhelmingly positive:
"The students really enjoyed trying the different Spanish cuisine and ordering it in Spanish. They enjoyed the setting, music, costumes, staff in restaurant, food. It was a really nice day (both times) and we really enjoyed it."
"Fab as usual! Our kids don’t often get to do anything like this and it throws them out of their comfort zone which is great and really rewarding! It is something different – most have never been abroad or experienced anything like it so it’s great to have them do something exciting and new."
"Our students enjoyed being in an authentic restaurant setting, away from school. Having the opportunity to communicate in Spanish in a low stakes situation and gaining confidence from doing so. One student said that the waiter told me I spoke good Spanish and she was so happy about that!
"Our students gained confidence in attempting to use the target language in a real-life setting. They also had to use spontaneous language to communicate effectively. They also tried new foods for the first time and gained cultural capital from the restaurant setting and socialising with their peers in a different environment. They had a great time!"
